6 months ago, I got an email I wasn't expecting.
And just like that I became jobless after 4 years of stable work.
I won't lie, part of me was relieved. But that relief doesn't pay rent.
When reality hit, I went back to job hunting. And I remembered why I hated it.
So I built something with Agent 4 on @Replit
I called it Watson.
Watch the video. You'll want to know the full story.
I woke up and heard a beautiful bird song that came and went. I'm out here breathing and thinking "damn! That's some nice bird tweet". I stop breathing and realised the song was coming from my nose. I was pissed.
I asked 100 Strangers for Money at GTCO Nigeria!!!
The challenge was simple. Raise N500K in 24hrs to support a Nigerian Creative with a laptop, courses, gears, etc...
I raised N100K and I want to split it between two Creatives. How to win:
#Filmmaker#ContentCreatorLife
1. You must be a creative (content creator, filmmaker, designer), and have your work on your profile
2. Tell me how the money will help you move from point A to B
3. Reshare, Follow, and Tag a fellow creative
4. I'll announce the winner LIVE on December 27th
I've been thinking a lot about coming back to twitter (I'll never call it X...sorry)
I'm dropping code, but for something better. I'm going to be sharing everything I learn as I and my team build a startup (OurPixo) and take over the world, helping millions of creatives 🔥
@thevaluedragon Exactly! I'll also add observation to the list as most important because on a sales pitch, if what you focus on is the pitch alone and questions asked, without observing the reaction...You'll miss the pain point and lose the opportunity for an instant close.
The biggest skill I'm learning is "asking". It's one of the most underrated skills. With the right questions, you can go miles in life, and in the right direction.
You just gotta ask. You never know.
@Codie_Sanchez I saw a post the other day that said:
"Don't take life too seriously, because you don't get out alive."
This hits so hard, and goes along with what you said. Don't take things too seriously, and filter every opinion.
Over the past year, I've had the privilege of giving out over 50 laptops for free to aspiring tech enthusiasts - some announced, others quietly.
With incredible support from this community, we've put tools in the hands of newcomers and anyone struggling with faulty computers. But here's something BIGGER...

@sevensquare_ I don't think it's supposed to go away. I think it stays to remind us that there's always something new to learn, and also keep us in check so we don't feel we know too much.
