Congrats to Dr. Alexandra Wiscovitch Bonilla (shown here w the toughest members of her committee) for defending her PhD. If your image of a successful graduate student doesn't include a Hispanic single mother w young kids, think again.#DevBiol#gradschool#Latinx@uprm@UFBioMed
@Joseph13561962 @KopinkeLab Hi Joseph, I don't have any openings for masters students, but if you are interested in UF, then you might want to look at the wide range of masters programs here: https://t.co/Xt1t8oQ0Bd
Postdoc opening. If you are interested in how sex differences at a single-cell level influence organ formation, and you'd like to study this in the context of genitourinary development and congenital variations, then apply to join our new GUDMAP project. https://t.co/cQNlRN5AC2
Team headed by Kerby Oberg investigate enhancer sequences that are mutated and responsible for a limb-specific form of human nail-patella syndrome. @MarianRosL@kcoberg

Congrats to Julia Bittencourt for 2nd place tie in grad student poster competition @ the #NIDDK@GUDMAP 15th anniv mtg. Julia produced #nanoCT atlases of genitourinary development for her undergraduate project. Resources for the #urology community are at https://t.co/24kXuRuFAv.
Congratulations to Chase Bryan @CDBE30 for taking 2nd prize in the postdoc poster competition at the @GUDMAP 15th anniversary meeting. Anyone interested in #genitourinary#development & #urology research should check out the data & resources available at https://t.co/24kXuRuFAv.
With the start of the academic year upon us, it’s worth re-sharing this advice for #students. Prof. #SnoopDogg knows what’s up. The #syllabus isn’t just a schedule; it explains expectations, policies, assignments, grading, contact info, & tips for success.https://t.co/J3NAqVlqBK
@KarenMSmith_bio@Curly_Biologist@ayomikunoa@kassthefish @KaneLabUL @MikeHerpbright That's some solid advice! I'll second James Albert @JamesAl04100080 as a wonderful mentor and a top-notch biologist whose breadth of expertise is almost superhuman. And he's one of the nicest people I've ever met.
@jfadoollab With FSU and UF starting classes on Monday, what is FSU doing about masks in classrooms? UF administration won’t allow a mask requirement. Instead, they’ve posted signs w/ the pathetically weak message, “Masks Expected”. This will have the expected outcome, and it’s preventable.
@jdlicht Congratulations, Jon. It is wonderful to see you being recognized for your infectious enthusiasm and support for trainees and junior colleagues!
