took a little but of time but got an international semiconductor company from literally 0 ai (even in software) to cost-effectively ai pilling them all, every department (from c suite to factory floor) and orthogonally added custom solutions/replaced legacy software
New biology eval on frontier AI modelsโ performance in biology problems: BioResearchBench: 50 Long Horizon Biological Research Tasks. We are incredibly grateful to the many expert scientists who contributed to this work at @OfficeHours โค๏ธ. We find that models (@AnthropicAI@OpenAI@GeminiApp@Meta@spacexai) continue to struggle with complex reasoning questions and understanding the significance of various biology inputs despite getting individual parts of questions correct. Biology is a hard dynamic field and we still have work to do in improving models ๐

We asked GPT-6 Astra to edit Qwen3.5-0.8B weights to improve math.
It directly changed only 0.016% of weights, fixing 0.8B's reasoning loops & improving math up to 6x and even instruction following 3x, without gradients or training.
We call this Weight-Space Programming: frontier LLMs can now natively read/write neural network weights! ๐งต

Binding is nice, but itโs getting boring. If youโre not thinking about biological function, youโre ngmi.
At our last @muni_bio hackathon co-hosted with @onepot_ai, we set one ambitious goal: neutralize the latest threat of Ebola using small molecules.
The wet lab data is in, and weโre excited to announce that teams were successful, including our agent that repurposed... an anti-itch gel?โจ

@m_goes_distance Unfortunately very few real developments in neurodegenerative diseases. The pre-clinical pipeline is full, but we're yet to see something substantial in the ALS / Alzheimer's / Parkingson's space.

Why are pharmacists the slowest human beings on earth
Are we sure we canโt replace anyone here
Maybe just threaten them with replacement to boost morale
