@sportingintel Your list gives equal credence to domestic cups & the league title? Surely the list should weight the relative importance of trophies - league titles and European Cups should be weighted to reflect their relative importance.

The arguments have already been made, so in ALL circumstances, I would appeal ANY points deduction, because it reallynputs us in jeopardy.

Any points deduction must be appealed on the following grounds:

1. Everton already had 6 pts docked for a lower breach than Forest, who had 4.

2. 2 of the 3 years in assessment have already been part of one breach which was punished.

3. A club going into administration, where creditors would lose money would face a 9pt deduction. Everton have already had 6pts deducted and are not in administration.

(I still find it truly Extraordinary that some in our fan base were advocating administration over 777)

4. Everton thought they were in compliance for much of the 22-23 season. They sold Gordon during this period. They only realised there would be a problem when their arguments around capitalisation of interest were rejected by the IC in Q3 2023. Too late to do anything about the 22-23 season.

5. Manifestly, it is a procedural/timetable issue which has resulted in only Everton facing 2 charges for 2 seperate PSR assessments in the same season. No one else will.

6. At worst, a pts deduction should apply to next season, to balance off the procedural unfairness under point 5. Because Forest, for example, could be in breach again next year but their points deduction will be spread across 2 seasons, not 1.
