To me, they are arguing past a crucial point. They are saying that “children are sophisticated enough to make life and reproductive anatomy altering decisions.” They have argued past the point that they can consent to sex. They use deliberately enabled and unregulated mental illness as a smokescreen.

Leftists in Portland, OR, used this same broken logic to successfully close their Police Department’s gang task force. It was racist, you see, because it wasn’t investigating enough white people. Dozens of active investigations were closed. Once it closed there were 8 gang related shootings the following weekend, and a sustained spike in gang violence since.
