#OnThisDay 1922 HMS VICTORY was moved into No 2 Dock in @HMNBPortsmouth to be preserved for the nation. VICTORY is the oldest commissioned warship in the world and is located in the oldest Dry Dock still in use in the world, commissioned by King Henry VII in 1495.

@stockotrader They based the aircraft for the filming at Lee on Solent .Some were large 1/4 scale models . Bit of a shock one morning as a Meshersmit took off across the road in front of me !
