Moving the conversations and reflections from last night forward into action please can we all use the hashtag #CollaborativeSupportForWomen
This will streamline all comments and questions so that we can respond to your individual contributions collectively.
The story of my professional life....I have never, ever been interviewed or line managed by a black or brown person.
If you have a SLT or board that looks like this, what are you doing about it?
Before u appoint a diverse staff, curriculum etc; Sch leaders must plan 4 this, be vulnerable, grow & truly lead your staff @AlisonKriel Actions only follow Intent! This is long term not another plaster! Plasters fall off & the wounds get infected again @ChilternTSA #LDeduchat
Super proud to be one of the Headteachers interviewed by Prof. Paul Miller UoG @ojukomiller. He has kindly made his paper freely available.

I see myself as a black, African woman and I’m very comfortable with that. But not everyone is. I don’t like #BAME, but I get that it’s the box set up for me to fit into. PoC, WoC, MoC is liked & hated. Please ask us how we want to be seen, don’t assume, and respect our response
These are the slides I shared on Wednesday evening as part of our @CollabSupport Collaborative Support for Women Webinar. Excuse my son in the background (it’s all about him anyway) #speakup#speakingyourtruth https://t.co/rzr019EOXb
Time to put pledges into action. I know we won’t be silent anymore. We listened, we are assimilating, now it’s time to speak. ‘The silence is the very thing that upholds the oppression. ..Overcoming the fear enables us to connect with our truth.’ 4/5 #CollaborativeSupportForWomen
Love and gratitude to all the women who were there. I appreciate your time, I appreciate your support, I appreciate you. Your tweets and messages are humbling. I treasure your words. You empower me to go on. 3/5 #CollaborativeSupportForWomen
My heart was in my throat during our technical glitch. Huge gratitude to @JulesDaulby who steered us through. I’m proud we all kept going- as women do! #CollaborativeSupportForWomen

It will not be a new organisation. I value, respect & support the ongoing work of @BAMEedNetwork @YBTN_uk and other groups and there is no intention to replicate the amazing work they are doing.
@circle_talking is an opportunity to meet informally online each week, and will provide a safe space where we can talk, listen, and share wisdom on how to navigate the institutional racism many of us face.
It’s #FearlessFriday for #WomenEd and time to celebrate yourselves!
And to celebrate & amplify the BAME women and men within our community.
Thank you @nourishedschool @AlisonKriel@Penny_Ten and @Ethical_Leade for your fearlessness and leadership.
