@jessi_cata I don't think physicalism and ontic structuralism are incompatible. ISTM that assuming OSR obtains, then consciousness/qualia supervening on the physical implies that by virtue of being (meta) structures of physical objects, they are real/exist (per OSR).

@jessi_cata There is nothing "red" about light of such and such a wavelength. The qualia exist as structural representation in our world models. The issue is accounting for the subjective qualities of those qualia (the redness of red), the hard problem. Functionalism doesn't *seem* to do it.

@ElementalReason @Philip_Goff It's unknowable/unprovable/unmeasurable except to the electron itself (hence metaphysics). Whether it could be considered a hidden variable and thus subject to Bell/EPR is debatable.
