@thedullguy But then some students would not answer many (if any questions), and checking their work would be difficult... Sounds like fun though! Good luck!

@thedullguy I have not tried this, but what about having a list of questions at each desk. 1 list has 1 question, another has 2, then three, and so on. Students land at a spot and if there is a question remaining they answer it, if not they are eliminated.

@MrsSasser Ooh...I could be way off...but I think the nature of factorials implies that the factorial belongs to the parentheses (just like an exponent would belong to the parentheses), so the factorial would come before the multiplication of the parentheses - making the expressions equal
