The only way to feed 2 million Palestinians is decentralizing! With 500 kitchens+bakeries…@WCKitchen had a network of 300 even not all functioning at once, doing 500k meals a Day….around 500 trucks a day…will feed everyone…but we need a ceasefire too

Medicaid is not for sale.
NASA is not for sale.
The Post Office is not for sale.

America is not for sale.

We have an obligation to resist kings.
We outnumber the oligarchs.
And they can be overwhelmed.

More than 300 Starbucks stores and 5000 BARISTAS are on an unfair labor practice strike today! This is the largest ULP strike EVER in Starbucks’ history.

Can't believe @Oysterband won't be coming to the US before ending their long, long run. We'll just have to watch the videos over and over.

Very best wishes to the very best band!

[Oysterband @Oysterband1]

Our warm thanks to everyone who turned out to our shows this last three very busy months. A Long Long Goodbye will continue into 2025, but meanwhile, despite the turbulence of the times, may your festive season indeed be “merry and bright”, and peaceful too. Love, Oysterband

At the heart of so many injustices is this simple counter message: there are enough resources for everyone on this planet to safely lead lives of dignity, and anyone who pretends otherwise is lying

[Grand Canyon NPS @GrandCanyonNPS]

Grand Canyon is one of the best places to view the Milky Way due to the high elevation, good air quality, clear skies, and distance from light pollution caused by large cities. Step outside and enjoy a beautiful night of star gazing!

If you are on the South Rim this evening (Dec. 7, 2024), Stop by the Visitor Center at 7 pm and learn about the science, mythology, and history of the constellations through a laser-guided constellation talk. The program lasts one hour.

If you plan to visit Grand Canyon during 2025, bookmark this link to the schedule of upcoming astronomy programs. https://t.co/sONpeEs25t

Sad mama dog reunites with her lost puppies. A dog mama named Cora ended up in a shelter after her owner had taken her babies away from her. Depressed, she wouldn’t move away from a corner, so The Marin Humane Society tracked down Cora’s puppies and reunited the family

Sad to say, this quote never gets old.

Although voters overwhelmingly chose to legalize recreational marijuana in 2023, one of the most powerful leaders in the state plans to dramatically change what Ohioans selected. So far, the policy has been safeguarded, but it likely won’t be in 2025.

Everyone in #Ohio needs to know about this bill

It bans books and curriculum. Disgusting and dangerous

But it also requires forced outing of #LGBTQ+ students, which is downright deadly

Sixty-two percent of U.S. adults, the highest percentage in over a decade, say it's the federal government’s responsibility to ensure all Americans have healthcare coverage, according to new Gallup polling.

[Warren Gunnels @GunnelsWarren]

Call me radical, but no, I don't believe the guy who became $337 billion richer in just 5 years should determine how much to cut from the $1,800 a month Social Security check a retiree has earned. Our job is to expand, not cut, Social Security, scrap the cap & tax the damn rich.

"We do not need to spend almost a trillion dollars on the military, while half a million Americans are homeless and children go hungry," said @SenSanders. https://t.co/2Wqlwr3vB9

highly recommend not using ChatGPT at all, since the servers that power it use more electricity than major cities, it's been known to recommend eating glue and smoking multiple cigarettes a day, and you could simply use your wonderful brains to read and study things on your own.
