It's a big weekend for our church: running the Gospel Kids Conference. Jane is not only one of the leaders who organized it all, but is an MC and breakout speaker. https://t.co/fewAYr6Tv8
"We can begin each day with the deeply encouraging realization, I'm accepted by God, not on the basis of my personal performance, but on the basis of the infinitely perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ"

🚨 BREAKING: Canada’s MAiD euthanasia machine just hit rock bottom.
A Quebec physician has formally suggested assisted suicide for infants — babies from birth to one year old with severe deformities and syndromes. Parents “should have the opportunity” to have their newborn killed.
Federal committees are now pushing to expand MAiD to “mature minors” (children), where a doctor — not the parents — decides if the kid can “consent” to their own death.
Ontario’s Chief Coroner confirms hundreds of MAiD deaths are driven by poverty, loneliness, and lack of housing — not terminal illness.
People are being offered lethal injection because they feel like a burden.
This isn’t healthcare.
This is a moral horror show.
Years of Liberal-NDP rule have turned Canada into one of the most dangerous places on Earth for the vulnerable — from newborns to the poor.
Danielle Smith is fighting this insanity in Alberta.
The rest of the country needs to wake the hell up before it gets even worse.

Did you see that? Magic's all about misdirection. What looks like magic is just a clever trick, like making something disappear right before your eyes! #MagicTricks#Illusion
@Fred_Butler@BobTheBaptist I love that book reading it last year! I started in the middle and read about 70 pages on Charles Finney, which is why I went to it. Was so good I went back and started it from the beginning and read the whole thing.
Lots to help you think about the invitation system in general
Here it is!
Last year I saw a video that stopped me in my tracks. Someone was doing something truly magical—8-ring manipulation. It was one of those rare, unique performances that goes viral. The moment I saw the rings floating and weaving in impossible patterns, I was completely
I don't understand why smartphones were ever allowed in schools in the first place. We weren't even allowed to take out a graphing calculator outside of very specific math or science classes. Did everyone just give up on rules and decorum at some point
Obviously giving a tablet to a 4 year old is total madness. There is no upside for the child. It’s all downside. Parents do it for one reason and one reason only. To keep their kids quiet and docile so that they (the parents) can spend more time on their own devices.
Why "Superman 2025" Failed — and Why "Spider-Man," "Legends," "Supergirl," and "Punisher" Will Likely Fail Too
When you go back and watch old TV shows like "The Saint," it becomes painfully clear why "James Gunn’s Superman" flopped.
Every episode of "The Saint" radiates pure affection for its charming, clever, competent hero Simon Templar.
The writers adore him, the world around him adores him, and the audience can't help but love him too.
JAMES GUNN DID THE EXACT OPPOSITE.
He wrote a movie that spends most of its runtime tearing the character down and constantly undercutting his heroism.
That’s a violation of the first rule of good storytelling: LOVE YOUR CHARACTERS.
The people who created "James Bond," "Luke Skywalker," "Sherlock Holmes," and all the early superheroes knew that.
They loved their creations so they always showed them at their best.
Modern Hollywood does the reverse.
They give every hero “human flaws” and then force them to cry, whine, and fail because of those flaws for two+ hours.
That’s why "Superman" felt off.
And that’s exactly why I have zero confidence in the upcoming slate:
The new "Spider-Man" trailer focuses on him failing more than succeeding.
"Supergirl" is unhappy, uninteresting, and unlikable.
"Legends" and "Punisher" will almost certainly follow the same pattern — take beloved, larger-than-life characters and reduce them to failures and losers.
Until Hollywood decides to love its heroes again, these movies and shows will keep failing with audiences who actually want to root for someone.
The golden rule is simple: If the writer doesn’t love the hero, the audience won't either.
