UGANET at the Gender Action Plan Workshop
Over the past two days, UGANET participated in the Gender Action Plan workshop under the URRI Program, hosted by Save the Children International. It was a timely and collaborative space where partners came together to reflect on persistent gender gaps, validate findings from the Gender & Power Analysis, and co-create strategies for more inclusive programming.
During the session, UGANET presented our planned activities under Outcome 3, which focuses on addressing gender inequalities. We shared our approach to tackling gender power imbalances through targeted community sensitizations and strengthening GBV referral pathways, ensuring improved access to essential services for women, youth, and persons with disabilities.
Together, we are moving the needle toward a more just and inclusive society.

❝Self-care is a transformative approach that complements the traditional health system, and digital platforms play a vital role in sharing accurate, reliable information. The real danger of misinformation isn’t just that it’s false,it’s that it’s believable. To promote self-care effectively, we must meet young people where they are: online, among their peers, and in their communities.❞
