Matter Labs is requesting ongoing funding from ZKsync governance for the next 12 months: 67M $ZK per month.

Die Europäische Wertpapier und Marktaufsichtsbehörde (ESMA) hat bestätigt, dass die Übergangsfrist für Krypto-Dienstleister (CASPs) ausläuft.

Bis zum 1. Juli 2026 sind Unternehmen, die bisher unter nationalen Übergangsregelungen operierten, verpflichtet, eine vollständige MiCA-Lizenz zu erwerben. Unternehmen, die diese Frist versäumen, müssen einen sogenannten „Wind-down“-Plan (Abwicklungsplan) einleiten und die Bedienung von Kunden innerhalb der EU einstellen.

> PSD3 und PSR

Ende April/Anfang Mai 2026 haben sich das Europäische Parlament und der Rat der EU auf die endgültigen Texte der PSD3 (Dritte Zahlungsdiensterichtlinie) und der PSR (Zahlungsdiensteverordnung) geeinigt.

Emittenten von E-Money-Token (Stablecoins), die der MiCA-Aufsicht unterliegen, sind nun von der Verpflichtung befreit, eine separate PSD3-Lizenz zu beantragen, sofern sie bereits als Krypto-Dienstleister autorisiert sind. Diese Neuerung eliminiert eine belastende Doppelregulierung.

> Steuerliche Transparenz (CARF und DAC8)

Kryptobörsen sind ab sofort verpflichtet, die Steueridentifikationsnummern (TIN) sowie Transaktionsdaten aller Nutzer (sowohl lokaler als auch ausländischer) zu erfassen.

Der erste umfassende internationale Datenaustausch zwischen 74 Ländern (einschließlich der EU, der Schweiz und Großbritannien) ist für 2027 geplant; die vollständige Datenerhebung hat jedoch bereits jetzt begonnen.

Fazit: Die Ära der „Grauzonen“ für Kryptowährungen in Europa ist beendet. Für den Endnutzer bedeutet dies ein höheres Maß an Sicherheit und Transparenz, jedoch auch den vollständigen Verlust der Anonymität bei der Nutzung zentralisierter Plattformen.

ZKsync is rolling out a new protocol fee management system. Previously, fees just sat there accumulating, but now they’re being put to work to drive value back to the $ZK token.

Here’s the deal: Anyone can now claim accumulated protocol fees (like USDC and ETH) by purchasing them for a fixed amount of ZK tokens.

This effectively turns protocol revenue into a buyback and burn engine.
