@phifer_phillip@ProvidenceBelis Misuse doesn't invalidate proper use. The Liturgy must go hand-in-hand with catechesis on the ceremonies themselves and what they're confessing when we do them.

@phifer_phillip@ProvidenceBelis God's people. Lex Orandi, Lex Credendi.
The Liturgy with all its ceremonies helps to inform the congregation about what we confess is happening in our Services.
@HansFiene The “traditions” I inherited were a sloppy and lazy simulacrum of traditional liturgy by people who were much happier in boomer contemporary services. I will not be zealous to uphold Creative Worship^TM.
@Degenwillape@Alex_Ortodoxie I do agree with you on the other end though, that Alex's line of argumentation regarding demons was strong and thought provoking. I just wouldn't say it had much of a bearing on the thesis of the debate.
@antepedium What's your perspective on sharing the altar with the Reformed, given how dogmatic and closed Lutherans are with Holy Communion, seeing as you're in a United Protestant Church?
@AngAesthetics@Young_Anglican Whenever I've heard you speak about your issues with Lutheranism, you always mention the Lutheran law/gospel distinction but what is it exactly about how Lutherans distinguish between the two that you disagree with?
