👏👏 We’re proud to have supported this roadmap— under one of our work streams— as part of our efforts to scale and institutionalize #anticipatory#action in #Kenya, driving coordinated and proactive disaster response.
Today, we proudly launched the Kenya Anticipatory Action Roadmap 2024-2029, developed by the National Technical Working Group on Anticipatory Action.
The Kenya Red Cross Society, through the International Center for Humanitarian Affairs, played a significant role in crafting this pivotal document.
This roadmap aims to shift disaster risk management from a reactive approach to an anticipatory one, focusing on climate-related hazards such as droughts, floods and epidemics.
