Finsbury Park has been free of major events for only 6 weeks this year, April-November. We want our park back please. @FinsburyUp @stroudgreen @HaringeyCitize1

@haringeycouncil @ConnectN4 @FinsParkFriends Thanks @haringeycouncil a bit late though... I phoned to complain last night so I trust this and my neighbours' complaints have been passed on to you and officially recorded?

[Jeremy L-Jones @jljphotography]

@haringeycouncil @FinsParkFriends @ConnectN4 @leosudea It’s over #haringey, time to STOP this dreadful events policy this commercialisation of a green space. Enough.

[ConnectN4 @ConnectN4]

@leosudea @haringeycouncil @FinsParkFriends What was it? It was REALLY loud

[Leo Sudea @leosudea]

Hey @haringeycouncil What's the noise complaint number for the events in the park??!!

[Fay Dennis @fay__dennis]

@Clive_Carter @FinsParkFriends @haringeycouncil @CllrEjiofor @kirstenhearn @ZenaBrabazon @jeremycorbyn @CatherineWest1 @DavidLammy @HackneyAbbott @IslingtonBC I hate how Finsbury park is shut off to the local community for the best part of the year, and then left brown and dusty. So pleased to find out about & join @FinsParkFriends

[Clive Carter @Clive_Carter]

@jljphotography @haringeycouncil @CllrEjiofor @FinsParkFriends @kirstenhearn @ZenaBrabazon @jeremycorbyn @CatherineWest1 @DavidLammy @HackneyAbbott @IslingtonBC ITN & BBC—interviewed a number of park users, including @FinsParkFriends Trustee & spokesman @MartinBallN17. The shooting was performed—not on the area @DavidLammy rightly dubbed as looking like the Serengeti—but the main southern area for which “Scorched Earth” seems appropriate

[Clive Carter @Clive_Carter]

@jljphotography @MartinBallN17 @haringeycouncil @CllrEjiofor @FinsParkFriends @kirstenhearn @ZenaBrabazon @jeremycorbyn @CatherineWest1 @DavidLammy @HackneyAbbott @IslingtonBC @coadje @CllrMarkBlake @perayahmet @ElinWeston @mayorofhackney @hackneycouncil @CarolineSelman 🏞️ IF the conduct of selfish @haringeycouncil over Finsbury Park fails to improve—for whatever reason—the two next-door Councils will *continue* to have to deal with the anger of their own residents, who have no direct influence over the neighbouring delinquent Local Authority.

[Jeremy L-Jones @jljphotography]

@Clive_Carter @MartinBallN17 @haringeycouncil @CllrEjiofor @FinsParkFriends @kirstenhearn @ZenaBrabazon @jeremycorbyn @CatherineWest1 @DavidLammy @HackneyAbbott @IslingtonBC @coadje @CllrMarkBlake @perayahmet @ElinWeston @mayorofhackney @hackneycouncil @CarolineSelman Maybe right but deals are probably being done in smoke filled rooms by tri borough comrades.....

[Clive Carter @Clive_Carter]

@jljphotography @MartinBallN17 @haringeycouncil @CllrEjiofor @FinsParkFriends @kirstenhearn @ZenaBrabazon @jeremycorbyn @CatherineWest1 @DavidLammy @HackneyAbbott @IslingtonBC @coadje @CllrMarkBlake @perayahmet @ElinWeston @mayorofhackney 🏞️ @IslingtonBC & @hackneycouncil—via Cllr @CarolineSelman—have to their credit made powerful, formal Representations about LBH’s conduct about our park at the shared boundaries. I fear @CllrEjiofor—the new @haringeycouncil Leader—has yet to grasp the gravity of the situation.

[Jeremy L-Jones @jljphotography]

@MartinBallN17 @Clive_Carter @haringeycouncil @CllrEjiofor @FinsParkFriends @kirstenhearn @ZenaBrabazon @jeremycorbyn @CatherineWest1 @DavidLammy @HackneyAbbott @IslingtonBC @coadje @CllrMarkBlake @perayahmet @ElinWeston @mayorofhackney Amazing this is deemed acceptable by local councils, their leaders and their cllrs.

[N17 Creative Action @MartinBallN17]

@Clive_Carter @haringeycouncil @CllrEjiofor @FinsParkFriends @kirstenhearn @ZenaBrabazon @jeremycorbyn @CatherineWest1 @DavidLammy @HackneyAbbott @IslingtonBC Weeks after #Wireless & Finsbury Park #concert central continues to look dreadful. The legacy of @haringeycouncil's events policy. A change of direction was promised by @CllrEjiofor But the contempt for parker users from #Hackney & #Islington too is as clear as the brown #ground.
