Keeping our #streets free from #flytipping is one of the priorities of @HaringeyCouncil, so our #enforcement patrolled Stroud Green and Seven Sisters yesterday. After finding #waste they issued two £400 notices and warnings for the businesses involved.
Established legislation limited park closures in London to a max of 12 days in any one year & 4 consecutive days (1890 Act) & limited enclosures to 10% or 1 acre, whichever is the greater (1967 Order). Do we need to reinstate / update these regulations? Discussing at @UW_WLS tmw.
.@IslingtonBC@VeoliaUK a common sight on the streets of Finsbury Park. Is this acceptable to you? Why are businesses allowed to dispose of their waste like it has been flytipped?

@hotdinners@FinsburyUp@haringeycouncil@LDNOktoberFest I went through the park late afternoon with my daughter and people were already stumbling out drunk. Doesn't make the park very family friendly and only adds to the problem of unpoliced antisocial behaviour at the Finsbury Gate.

Do you agree with @IslingtonBC who this week withdrew their objections to Wireless concerts in Finsbury Park? They had raised serious concerns on behalf of residents about the impact on the local area of noise, anti-social behaviour, poor crowd management & other issues.
