.@fiverr is an outsourcing marketplace which does billions $ per year. Businesses use it to hire freelancers to do 'monkey work' but also graphic design, marketing, junior web devs etc.

Since the release of LLMs like ChatGPT - $FVRR stock is down 95%. $UPWK (@Upwork) is down 77%. LLMs are rendering non intellectual work increasingly worthless.

I don't have a strong view on when AGI will be reached. But in the foreseeable future - AI will disproportionately reward those with high intellect and high agency.

This hurts non resource rich emerging markets with large outsourcing sectors - especially India and Philippines (call centres, BPO, IT services). It makes up 7-10% of their GDP. But it might hurt developed countries with tons of 'fake email jobs' even more.

People from India are already used to being poor and surviving with little - they can go back to farming and survive. But an American graphic designer earning $70K a year who now finds themselves replaced by AI might feel different.

Resource and energy rich EMs (that are reasonably well governed like Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan) is where I see relatively decent risk / reward. Brazil - I'm fine to keep some small exposure. You can't vibe code resource and energy just yet.
