It’s awesome to be a part of a city with so much creative underground art… I experienced the photo bench first hand - thank you for creating, @fulligin!
I hid a camera on the roof of an apartment building and aimed it at a bench 300ft away in Dolores park. Then I decorated the bench and turned it into a magic photo bench.
@bnj @prashantpbagga @ourZORA@js_horne (who is absolutely stellar) was actually hired by my predecessor! He was one of the two product designers on staff at the time that I started. The other was @slavakim , who is also amazing. I’m honored to have worked with them both. 😊

I love question card decks, and the one that Holstee makes is absolutely my favorite. I bring it with me whenever I travel and pop it out at small gatherings, dinner tables, car rides, etc. So glad they got a shoutout on the podcast!
At 14 min Tim introduces them:
“Tim Ferriss: We owe Connie credit for another prop we have on the table we may or may not use, which are the Holstee — H O L S T E E — reflection cards. [...] And this as a deck is quite good, so we might get to some questions here.
Here are even more images of #SpiritedAway at Tokyo’s Imperial Theatre.
Thank you for all of the kinds words, likes & shares of my previous tweet.
I’m so happy people are liking our interpretations of such well loved characters 😅

@rsg Scams are terrible, but I think (if the user experience was better/easier) there is positive potential for a wider variety of artists to access new audiences and income.
Today I learned at Stripe: In the UK, a gingerbread cookie is not taxable, BUT if has trousers on, it will be classified as a cake, and thus taxable. And here we all thought taxes could never be fun. 🍰 h/t @ohheyjuliana
Darke is recruiting all Black 3D artists to create one character bust, each with nine different hairstyles for the database. And making it free and open-source was key to maintaining its anti-racist, anti-capitalist, and feminist ideology. https://t.co/njfUt3tFuE
I love nature documentaries, and this scene of a hooded grebe looking for love is amazing. She tries to ply males with gifts of seaweed before they dance. And isn’t it kind of generally crazy that birds can dance like this? Highly recommend Mating Game (on Amazon/Discovery).
and @ConnieCurious created this fantastic display of “aggressively personal questions” - including some mounted on teddy bears (v absurd and cute)
I think that this could be a traveling exhibit at cafes, workspaces, cozy living rooms.. just throwing this out into the universe!
I guest hosted an episode of the Distributed podcast, chatting with @zoink on Figma, design, remote work, and more. Many thanks to @automattic for this opp!
Have a listen if you're curious, and holler if you are seeking question-askers for podcasts. 👋
