I’ve seen a lot of discourse about how Disney’s #Pocahontas is problematic, which is fair… but how come nobody talks about how it’s not very good? If it weren’t for the video essays, I genuinely don’t think anybody would remember it in 10 years.
People will see a show about the beauty of human relationships and how its small moments that make a fullfiling life and instead choose to endlessly debate whether the demons in it represent immigrants or white people
@theroleycoley This is Marco, one of my D&D OCs. He's a soulknife rogue who grew up on the streets of the capital city. His father was absent throughout his life and his mother was emotionally abusive.
@theroleycoley Even though his story was incomplete, he's still one of my favorite OCs because of his no-nonsense view of life, his big-brotherly attitude, and his cool psychic powers. Plus, his playlist is still one of the best I've made.
