@OwenBenjamin@DickDelingpole You dumb cunt. It only requires around 14.7 psi of pressure to survive inside a vessel in space. The pressure at the depth of the titanic is 6000psi. The vacuum of space is incredible easy compared to the pressure of the ocean.
Here's a 1-minute video showing--in the words of visualization hero @EdwardTufte--the "compared to what" factor for today's amazing @NASAWebb image. Thanks to the @WWTelescope for making this possible, and @ADavidWeigel. I only wish @NASA and @POTUS had shown the image this way!
Gas is over $5 a gallon right now.
The last time a barrel of crude oil cost this much was in July 2014. At that point a gallon of gas only cost about $3.54.
Let’s be clear: Oil companies don’t need to be charging this much for gas. They’re just doing it to make excess profits.
Spent my whole life thinking Travis Barker was a cool guy only to recently realise he’s pure cringe. Why do the Kardashian’s always gotta ruin everything??
