@kdidkmekdk69537 The book is just a straight up cold war thriller, right? I don't know if there's anything exciting to dig up from it, but definitely let me know if it's worth a read.

@NeilBreen @NeilBreen Big fan! How long does it take to write a script for your films? And how many drafts do you do?

@TravisG1234 I watched The French Connection for the first time recently. I loved it and was surprised how nihilistic it was. Would be curious to hear your book v movie thoughts.

[Simon Fay @ContentLit]

@TravisG1234 Gotta get around to reading this.

Hey Simon @ContentLit, another video on a movie based on a book. It's almost like books, if adapted correctly, can become great movies. Who knew?😉
Anyway, hope you enjoy it.👍

In the block in 'Yellow', in my graphic is Harbour Court in Dublin City that Dublin City Council decided to close off to the public after reports that criminal activity, including the sale of drugs, and other anti-social behaviour was taking place there.
Btw, the blocks 'Red' represent some of the derelict and vacant sites in Dublin City. Meanwhile, there is a record-breaking number of 13,514 people, including 4,105 children, who are accessing emergency accommodation.

As ever, I am late to the discourse... But I have thoughts on the Foundation TV show.

Has anybody suggested that the writers might have borrowed the protagonist from @Nnedi's 'Binti,' to use as their version of Gaal Dornick?

[Simon Fay @ContentLit]

@TravisG1234 It's more political than her fantasy, now that you mention it. Her examination of the capitalist planet is a bit superficial but I think her exploration of the moon society goes more into human nature. I've not read Barry Lyndon but look forward to your video. I like the film 👍

@ara_anderson Nevermind, got her 👍

[Simon Fay @ContentLit]

@ara_anderson Hey Sandy, has Kim lost her phone or something? I can't get through to her.

[foxtrot delta tango @fudeltatango]

Hey @ContentLit, my latest video’s about the writer torturing his characters. I’m sure you can think of examples from the world of literature. George RR Martin? Stephen King?
