Spend time here daily scrolling and interacting with the UGC community so the algorithm gets you in the right place there’s so many opportunities posted daily and if you don’t see any definitely post a video! Prioritize talking to camera examples, brands and agencies desperately need creators who are truly genuine on camera I nearly never use other platforms and am always busy with work so you’re in the right place 😊
@gcrebbin@sociallyjewlz Hi! UGC mom here with a 6yo and 10yo who are comfortable and experienced on camera 🙂 I’d love to hear more about this project and see if we’d be a good fit!
Attaching a few examples and here’s a link to my portfolio as well:

"Our budget is a lot lower than your rate."
Every UGC creator hears this. Most fold.
Here's the B2B response:
"Thank you for your transparency. I have two options: I can work within [X lower number] for a reduced scope (1 video, 30-day usage), or we can schedule for next quarter when campaign budgets refresh. Which works better for you?"
You're not accepting less. You're reframing.
Option 1 = lower scope, not lower value.
Option 2 = delay, not rejection.
Both keep you in control.
My first UGC video was bad. Like really bad.
Lighting was off, audio was rough, and I sounded like I was reading a hostage note.
6 months later I made $10K in a single month
You don’t need to be good to start. You need to start to get good.
Need your product, app, or service showcased mom-to-mom?

Being able to be flexible across niches is awesome but the products that actually apply to your current lifestyle will always come across 10x more authentic in UGC content
I fought getting cornered into parenting and just products the first couple years of my UGC journey but today they make up a huge bulk of my monthly income & I love it!!
Two UGC examples in the parenting space, both are mom-to-mom chats but one brand wanted broll woven in while the other didn’t so I relied on movement and authentic energy to keep it engaging, too.

If you’re doing a lot of raw footage briefs but never get to see your finished videos, you can always put them together yourself per the brief
Or
Just check meta ads library 🤗
I personally love going in and seeing how my Broll was used and what the finished assets and iterations look like!

@MLukashewich Hey Mariah, mom of three here my kids are 10, 6, and 3 and I’d love to help out with this campaign! I can turn around content quickly and match the warm, calm confident tone in the delivery you’re looking for 😌

As a creator I feel it depends on if you are actually wanting to relax the reigns 😅and if the budget has room for strategy/scripting.
For example one agency I work with I take a lower rate than I normally would per brief because they’re giving me a lot of consistent work, and they’re sending a specific script, with the tone and persona explained, and Broll list
On the other hand a different agency I just started working with sends a loose brief with a shot wishlist and then they ask for a “testimonial” and they outline a few talking points. I have a lot of creative freedom on both the Broll and script. Since I’m putting more creativity and time into this framework they pay a higher rate.
And I’ll both offered fair rates imo when they onboarded me for what their expectations were.
I see a lot of posts complaining about being offered $150 per brief left and right but I wonder if there’s any attempts at negotiation before coming to post about it 🤔
Let’s be real if brands and agencies can get yes’s to that rate commonly- especially with it being a beginner rate, they’re always going to try.
Here’s how I usually respond and convert these lower rates to something we’re both happy with:
“Hey (contact) it’s great to connect with you! (Insert brief insightful thoughts on the brief/project and why you feel it’s a great match for collaboration). My rates for this are normally (quote above average rate) can we meet at (rate you’d prefer but still above your bare minimum)?”
Don’t be afraid to ask for your rate but also don’t be afraid to be flexible too. I’ve made excellent long term partnerships with this mindset

As a mom I love working with brands that solve real life parenting problems🙌
These #ugcexamples were scripted by creative strategists who really got their audience and just needed their stories brought to life.
I’ll say it again- get so comfortable on camera that you can walk, talk, use body language, the whole package! and that’s how you grow in UGC in 2026.
Full transparency, sometimes I’ll film lines over and over until I can watch it back and believe MYSELF🙂↕️🙂↕️
Ready to tell your story next!

I have an active tts account I actually get more from retainers to post shoppable content daily every month than I do from commissions right now but it’s still an extra bit of income. Rn is a good time for UGC creators to hop in they’re highly prioritizing high quality content and deprioritizing low quality so they want to see product demo and features/benefits in order to be pushed and by they I mean the algorithm
@DevanEnright Same story! It was a girl named Maddi for me back in 2020/2021
It’s definitely something you learn a lot and FAST from just starting instead of waiting to feel ready/good enough
