Social skill rolls in D&D are kind of a mess to begin with for this reason.

But it is. They are the antagonists. Just like the Greek God of War was the antagonist in the very first game. The name fits just fine.

The first game is called God of War because it is about fighting the God of War. This new one is also about fighting Gods or War.
