I was supposed to run this race today with a couple of thousand people, around the City, but instead I ran it alone, with the start and finish line at my front door. 🏘🏃♀️
Since my marathon training has stopped I’ve been struggling with my pacing, running shorter distances at maximum effort, so today was v. challenging. Was it because of pacing or the anxiety I feel about being outside or being caught off guard by the heat, who knows 🤷♀️.
