Rușii au avut mereu mai multe rețele, independente una de cealaltă. Care nu comunicau, nu se cunoșteau, dar care se aflau într-o acerbă competiție. Cum probabil că se întâmplă și astăzi."

On current trends he will succeed.

Afd is doing better than ever.

It is only 🇺🇦 that stops him now.

Too few democrats understand fully what is at stake NOW. How big the risk is. How strategic and focused their foes are.

If they would, they would act very differently now. They still have power and a mandate. In the UK. In the EU. In Berlin:

- turn into a true “arsenal for democracy” for Ukraine, like the US did for the UK 1940. Really integrate 🇺🇦🇲🇩 now.

- Regard Baltics like West Berlin was during the Cold War: the crucial region where credibility is tested and deterrence must work. Deploy far more troops there to deter now.

- Defend boldly and with imagination the triad of institutions that underlie the European miracle: the EU, NATO, the ECHR.

Fight the battle of ideas. It is also a battle of stories.

MEET ICC’S PRE-TRIAL JUDGES

The International Criminal Court (ICC) released the pre-trial chamber I judges who issued the warrant of arrest against former president Rodrigo Duterte.

Romanian judge Iulia Antoanella Motoc will lead the investigation as the presiding judge. Joining her are judges Reine Adélaïde Sophie Alapini-Gansou and María del Socorro Flores Liera.

Duterte, who is turning 80 on March 28, 2025, could become the first Asian former head of state to go on trial at the ICC.

He was charged with the crime of murder as a crime against humanity and bore criminal responsibility for the alleged murder of at least 43 people between 2011 and 2019.
