@QLUCKO@realJeremyCarl@paulg Shhh, racists never need doctors, nurses, small business founders working long days to run shops or restaurants, etc.
If you're not founding a unicorn tech company you're scum who doesn't belong in the land of the free! /s
@speaklaur I wouldn't ever describe it as "celebrating" thanksgiving, but as a Brit I have had 3-4 American-style thanksgiving meals when I've happened to have an American friend in town on the date!
@drunken_magpie@_jdodd The fact that I never expressed any opinion disagreeing with you, but instead of actually reading what I said you assumed I did and started insulting me, says everything about you and nothing about me. Have a nice life of screaming into the void, I guess.
@drunken_magpie@_jdodd I have no idea. I wasn't arguing about the situation at all, I don't have an opinion on it.
Literally my only involvement was to helpfully explain to you that you had misread his tweet, to give you a chance to argue with what he actually said rather than what you imagined.
@drunken_magpie@_jdodd I don't know if they know who the agency is.
But their tweet clearly talked about the agency, not the client, so whether or not they were making a good or a shit point, they never suggested anything about Dominos working or not working with gaming companies.
@drunken_magpie@_jdodd And in case my last tweet was still too confusing
"Dominos doesn’t need any relationship with gaming"
I agree with you! But literally nobody in this thread was talking about that except you.
@drunken_magpie@_jdodd What I said was that he wasn't talking about whether or not Dominos would work with gaming companies...
There's a different company, whose business isn't making pizzas it's posting social media stuff for other companies (including Dominos, and potentially gaming companies)...
@drunken_magpie@_jdodd (Companies like Dominos rarely choose to have in-house employees for stuff like social media management, it's more common to hire an agency whose staff do it. The guy you replied to was talking about that agency and whether or not gaming companies would be willing to hire them.)
@Beanzo0@Unc1eAnt No they're not, because only a racist would suggest that.
Personally I would suggest that trying to kill three people by stabbing them is itself a pretty clear sign of mental illness. If that's not enough for you, he was literally a patient in a mental health hospital that week.
@uncreativetom I don't know about all of them, but at least in Revolut's case they are just using https://t.co/FZQAFxTNVZ
So it's almost no work for Revolut to be able to offer it, and a chance to make a bit more money from their customer base.
@nativistconcern@AaronBastani@etbadabimbim I'm probably being an idiot, but I'm confused by your wording - the second sentence makes it sound like he was not rejected...?
@breadandposes Is it that they can only ticket cars in certain scenarios (like in a parking space it's not allowed to use), not if they do something not specified in ticketing laws?
Couldn't they just (or as well as more towing) change the rules so that they can ticket cars doing this?
@LilUziVartan@YounisJoseph Yeah, it's like when TV ads for cleaning products go "Did you know the average kitchen surface has a billion gazillion bacteria on it?!?!" hoping that people run out and buy their brand of bleach rather than realising that we haven't all been dying every time we use our kitchens.
@MerriamWebster@tmuxvim Everyone knows it *really* stands for Wireless-Fireless. That's why we never see data travelling between devices and WiFi routers using fire.
