2nd remix from the reissue of In Light of that Learnt Later, this time by KMRU. Available now on digital via Bandcamp and usual suspects on Friday. The original track is the only one on the album not to feature guitars and was reworked using purpose built distortion patches.

"Hi there, Jo here, Ashley's wife. Some of you know and some of you don't know that Ashley had a brain bleed and seizure in November. Fast forward to February, he had a 16 hour operation and stroke that has left him without any mobility on his right hand side and limited speech. From November to April (with the exception of Xmas) I was living at the Salvation Army college full time to be with him. Ashley was sent to Orpington Neuro Rehab, then Canterbury Neuro Rehab and is in a nursing home waiting to be rehoused. His speech has improved and his sense of humour and resilience has been remarkable.
It's been an incredibly tough time and both Ashley and myself have discussed the following long and hard before asking for help. But if you're able to look down the back of the sofa for some loose change, we'd be happy to accept it.
Thank in advance to all of you who contribute, thank you to all of you who have been our network of support and thanking the Universe for keeping Mr B looked after by the greatest establishment on Earth - the NHS. Without them, he would be dead.
If you can share, that would be ace but no pressure."

Thanks to @boomkatonline for listening again and the review. It's been over 20 years since this first came out and their original support. Feels like very different times so glad someone is still listening.
