@QualiaQuanta Why would the fields that are quantized be the place where deeper structure is rather than the framework being applied to those fields itself? It would make more sense to me that QFT is what has a richer structure that is “quantum gravity”, not the fields themselves.

Even in this view, there would be a new notion of “gravity” means in the “pregeometry,” which may also even be “prequantum”.
