@Birdgirl_22 Anti-predation is anti-speciesism applied. Just like we should be against sentient beings having their rights violated in a farm and being slaughtered in a slaughterhouse, we should be against them having their rights violated and them being slaughtered in nature. Natural≠Moral

How do self-described #prochoice people justify not extending bodily autonomy to the right to end your own life? I can't think of any autonomy-based argument in favour of abortion which wouldn't apply equally to suicide. The fact that suicide isn't de jure illegal doesn't mean that the status quo of restricting access to suicide methods isn't a serious infringement on autonomy, unless banning all medical abortions but not criminalising coathanger abortions would also be considered to be a "pro-choice" position.

I don't know how people like @AnnFuredi reconcile the hypocrisy. It seems that her stance is that she supports autonomy if, and only if, she happens to morally approve of the person's choice. In which case, I'm not sure how she's any different in any principled and consistent way from the pro-lifers who also want to ban abortion.
