Because it's Eastern Europe it should be washed out?

HL2 despite limited graphics wasn't washed out

Everything in Half Life Alyx is pastel and clean, with a myopia filter on top and washed out greatly other than indoor svenes with Xen fauna or Combine levels.

I loved this game mind you but this aspect really sucked in an oherwise beautiful game

@Aviarreat @sourcegallery1 It's due pretty confusingly low contrast.

Valve could have easily increased the contrast and popped colors & subtle nuances to be more lifelike and to prevent the effect from being harsh make the shadow roloff gentle and pushed the blacks to being inky with no performance loss.

Quite a few brits i've sen with naturally jet black hair and eyebrows except often paired with red or blonde facial hair.

Regardless of what genre or how sincere, raunchy, crazy, heartfelt, scary. Thrilling, melancholic, a movie may be, it must have character to it's themes, and a spirit to it.
