@mrlongshore And then we use those misguided player recruiting rankings in made up metrics and so called polls that are used to determine who makes the playoffs.
@SamENole@jimmyltrent I know what it is. How’d it do last week?
It seems to get increasingly worse each week. And I think that’s largely because it’s anchored by recruiting rankings that just aren’t accurate.
He should publish the results each week against the spread and straight up.
@SportsTalk_304 It’s experience. Teams write guys off when they’re young and inexperienced and playing with a HR of 150.
Reading defenses and confidence come with time. I doubt he’s an NFL QB, but he’s calmer and smarter now.
Arnold isn’t a world beater but he’s improved too.
@flatland_sports Well deserved.
I’m waiting to see the CFP ranking and how they justify putting them 7 and 8 based on their voodoo strength of schedule formula.
@AriWasserman Yeah, let’s wait to see if they place them below SEC teams lower in the polls.
That’s the whole point of their strength of schedule metric that ends up being a loop, where losses to average teams are excused.
@benterest@winnyokstate This excuse doesn’t hold. We had season tickets till the kids were in select sports 7 days a week. They’re done and we’re back. Other fans took our spots while we were gone. It’s the cycle of every fan base.
Stilly is in the middle of nowhere and we draw 50k at 11 am.
@CoachCoog We recognize about five military and first responders every game. OSU fans would cheer for a sooner soldier, lol.
But I almost universally find fans are way kinder and more respectful in person — except for the West Virginia students (cursing /object throwing baby Eagle fans)
