Their status page is down too.
eBay itself is even down for some normal eBay users. You can see here reported on downdector.

@justincrump_iam@eBay No, you're not blocked. Their entire API is down right now. It's been down for about 3 hours. It's affecting many 3rd party applications like mine (spadeberry), nifty, vendoo, etc. I've got a script running testing it every 10 minutes, still not up yet.

@nondualrandy I'm not trying to be a hater-> I just genuinely don't understand your thought process here. Why you wouldn't want to work on it and improve it for longer than 2 days before trying to sell it to people?
@loltyler1@macaiyla for literally $50 a month you can get a starlink mini and have it on hand as back up so that what happened yesterday during allstars never has to happen again (you can get 200 mb/s down and 50 mb/s up w/ 30 ms). Long term-> you should really look into getting a direct 'dedicated enterprise fiber' line to your house. It might cost $50k but wouldn't that be worth it for 100% uptime and perfect internet? Might be zero upfront cost but $2k a month. Worth looking into.

I haven't mined sine 2018 but I can help answer this question. Just go to whattomine dot com.
Mining profitability (outside of having space, cooling, and asic miners) is almost entirely tied to your access to cheap electricity. For example, just looking at my screenshot 1 below; I'd imagine the Bitmain Antminer S23 is one of the more standard devices you'd purchase for mining SHA-256 (Lots of hashrate, consumes lots of power, etc). If you're electricity cost 10 cents per kilowatt hours, you're losing $2 per day per device at current BSV prices. You're mining over $6 in BSV a day but you're electricity cost would be over $8 a day.
If you look at screenshot 2 you can see that if you have access to electricity at 3 cents a kilowatt you'd be in the green nearly $4 per day per machine.
I can vouche that rates in missouri where I live in 2018 were about 11 cents in the winter and 14 cents in the summer. I believe at the time you could get electricity in certain areas in texas for 3-4 cents a kilowatt hour back then. Zero clue what rates are these days.
I find that I very frequently omit the word 'the' while I'm typing. The only explanation is that it's a habit I've formed while typing so much to ai (where typing every word to it seems unnecessary). It's only been the last 6 months or so that I've noticed myself doing it.
@VinnyLingham@gavinlucas110@gavinandresen@grok Would be wild if Epstein led to all of us long term BSV bag holders becoming vindicated one day. I moved on with my life but still got a bag just in case.
