Quite a story: After an Iranian assassination threat, Trump was secretly switched to a different plane while leaving the NATO summit in Ankara.
He’d arrived in Türkiye on the new Qatar-gifted 747-8 (its first international presidential trip).
For departure, he publicly boarded the older legacy Air Force One on camera, saying he wanted to fly it “for old time’s sake.”
But minutes after boarding, he and a few aides were transferred out of sight — via an airport catering truck whose container was hydraulically raised to a door on the side away from media — onto a smaller C-32A (modified 757).
The legacy 747 then flew as a decoy, still using the Air Force One call sign.
Journalists and some White House staff on board had no idea Trump wasn’t with them.
They were told to keep window shades closed, which is unusual.
Both planes landed at RAF Mildenhall in the UK minutes apart.

Kevin Feige says ‘AVENGERS: SECRET WARS’ will introduce a new universe that is easier for audiences to follow.
“It will establish a streamlined, simplified, single universe that’s easier for audiences to follow. Some aspects will feel familiar. But many, many things will be entirely new.”
