@Jajofranklin Yep the surface waves look good so far. These levees generally have an inverted velocity structure with faster over slower. Other data we've seen correlates well with litho logs.
Part 1/1. We are happy to finally be back out in the field collecting data again at one of our new projects that will model levee potential for failure through geophysical assessment using MASW seismic and ERT on towed streamers. This is some exciting work in the CA Delta.
Part 3/3. Our seismic streamer in action. Our goal is to map the low velocity variable peat thickness from the top of the levee and to identify weak zones within the levee structure using complex methods sensitive to density, soil texture, and moisture. @eesalbnl @sebuhlemann
