@RoryGreenfield I think it's pretty clear Trent is no longer interested in defending. It's upto the coach to see this and hide his flaws in defending by putting him into midfield

@419simsim Yup Trent is a good athelete but a quick and tricky wingers will most of the time feast on him. Put him in midfield and doesn't have to worry about a pacy winger leaving him in dust all the time

Van Dijk isn’t necessarily at direct fault for the goal, but finding myself saying a lot recently “but he doesn’t actually do anything to try”… not much the misfits of the squad can do when the first teamer’s aren’t at the levels. Robbo, Trent, Henderson, vvd, Fabinho etc etc

btw van Dijk has pissed me off in every game this season at various moments. He's still the best but it's not illegal to get your shorts dirty.

van Dijk deserves all the criticism for this. Embarrassing defending. Milner mightve been rubbish today but he was right to be furious with Virgil after this and on other occasions.
