Since 2015, the UN has passed 188 resolutions condemning Israel.

That's more than twice as many as against the rest of the world combined—Russia, China, Iran, and Venezuela included.

Yet diplomats sat politely through a speech from Iran, a regime that has killed thousands of its own citizens and still persecutes them.

It's not about human rights. It's blatant anti-Israel bias.

People keep saying Trump term II is the most corrupt administration ever, so I built a model to find out if it was true.

I took the UN's definition of corruption, turned it into eight criteria and 100 points, and scored the leaders history remembers for looting their countries: Marcos, Suharto, Mobutu, Abacha, Obiang, Putin.

Then I put every president since Eisenhower on the same scale, both parties, with every exoneration counted right alongside the convictions.

Nixon scored 41 and no other American President scored over a 25.

Trump's second term scored a 91, which ties him with Suharto and Mobutu and puts him above Marcos and Abacha.

So he is not only the most corrupt president in American history. At this pace he finishes his term level with the most corrupt rulers of the last hundred years.

Italian journalist Oriana Fallaci removing her chador during her tense 1979 interview with Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in Qom, Iran...

In October 1979, Italian journalist Oriana Fallaci traveled to Qom, Iran, to interview the Islamic Revolution's supreme leader. To get inside the room, Fallaci was forced to cover herself from head to toe in a heavy black chador, leaving only her face visible.

The conversation inside the room was tense from the very start. Fallaci did not hold back her questions.

She pushed the Ayatollah on political executions, the sudden shutdown of independent newspapers, and the sharp loss of rights for Iranian women under the new regime.

When she asked about the forced wearing of the veil, Khomeini dismissed her concerns and claimed the garment was meant to protect young and respectable women. He then added,

"If you do not like the Islamic dress, you are not obliged to wear it."

Fallaci took his words literally and replied, "Thank you, Mr. Imam. Since you tell me so, I am taking it off right now."

With a quick move, she pulled the chador off her head, leaving her hair completely exposed right in front of the Supreme Leader.

Khomeini was furious.

He stood up without saying another word and walked out of the room. The room fell silent, and the interview was abruptly stopped. However, Fallaci refused to leave Iran until he returned a day later to finish the conversation.

This confrontation became legendary in the history of journalism.

It showed a reporter refusing to bow down to authority, even in one of the most dangerous settings imaginable.

Fallaci proved that real journalism requires standing up to power, asking hard questions, and refusing to be silenced by fear or tradition.

When journalists trade raw courage for easy access and comfortable silence, we lose one of our strongest shields against tyranny.

In an era where true courage in reporting feels rare, her brave stand reminds us that honest journalism still has the power to light up the dark, giving a voice to the voiceless and inspiring future generations to speak truth without fear.

A close family friend lost his feet in Kandahar while protecting the embedded Canadian journalist from Calgary who lost her life there. He still carries the names of all the Canadians who died that day on a bracelet around his wrist.

You seem to forget the part about "using economic force" to "annex or acquire Canada," @GinnyRothTO.

Or the part about the "imaginary line" (ie border) based on "a fake treaty."

Or the Oval Office maps showing Canada as part of the USA.

Or the constant ridicule and denigration of our country and its sovereignty, and endless talk about making Canada the 51st state.

The attacks on the honour of our Afghan War dead ("they stayed a little bit back, a little bit off the front lines.")

Or our reliability as an ally ("they've never been there for us") after incurring some of the highest per capita casualties in defence of the United States in Afghanistan.

Or the threats to invade a neighbouring NATO ally (ie Danish Greenland.)

Or the threats to remove Canada from the Five Eyes, and the suspension of the Permanent Joint Defence Board.

Or treating Canada like a greater security threat than North Korea, the Peoples Republic of China, or Putin's Russia.

And now the stated goal of "changing Canada's behaviour." What behaviour? That of a reliable friend, ally, and major trading partner that actually respects its trade agreements?

Yes, we have to approach all of this with a measure of prudence, restraint and patience. Yes, we should seek a modicum of certainty amidst the constant chaos and impulsiveness.

But Canada is not a mere economic zone whose entire national purpose is the minimization of tariffs.

We are not a punching bag.

There is nothing "grown up" about ignoring or normalizing the constant provocations and betrayals.

"lol GUYS," our entire history of sustaining a sovereign Canada next to a global super power has been an act of constant will, of which we should be immensely proud. Because thankfully, our forebears were animated by love of country, not by craven cynicism masquerading as hard headed realism.

In 1948, around 100,000 Arabs lived in Israel. Today there are over 2 million Arab citizens with full rights.

In the same period, nearly one million Jews were expelled from Arab countries. Ancient Jewish communities in Iraq, Yemen, Egypt, Syria, and Libya were completely wiped out. Almost none remain.

So tell me, who is really carrying out ethnic cleansing in the Middle East?
