@mightbeautistic My family had a patch of sunflowers; when they seeded, we'd put the seed heads on the back deck railings. Within a day, our deck was FLOODED with blue jays eating the sunflower seeds!
It wasn't until recently that I learned jays were corvids; I knew ravens and crows were.
