@_paytaca_ Making crypto as easy and familiar to use as regular payments is a key factor to its mass adoption.
This is a great step for the average person! Can't wait to see the launch in August. Good luck team 👏
📣 The future of payment cards is almost here.
This isn’t just another NFC card. We’ve combined Bitcoin Cash smart contracts with NTAG 424 DNA signed-tap authentication to create a self-custodial card payment experience unlike anything before.
Every tap is cryptographically authenticated. Every payment can be protected by on-chain spending limits and merchant authorization rules — while you remain in control of your funds.
Here’s your first look.
Launching at the Cash 3.0 Conference in Cebu City on August 1 to 2. 🚀

One reason the inaugural Cash 3.0 Conference is a historic milestone: we’ll be unveiling the Paytaca Card.
Instead of riding on Mastercard or Visa rails, the Paytaca Card authorizes spending directly through Bitcoin Cash smart contracts, combined with cryptographic NFC authentication. It’s a fundamentally different approach to what a crypto payment card can be.
This is what a truly self-custodial crypto payment card looks like.
Something unprecedented just happened in cyberspace. 🤯
An autonomous swarm of AI agents launched a cyberattack against Hugging Face’s infrastructure. After investigating, Hugging Face traced the attacker back to American frontier AI models being evaluated by OpenAI.
So naturally…
They turned to AI to help investigate the AI attack.
Plot twist: the American models kept refusing to analyze the attack because their cybersecurity guardrails interpreted the forensic artifacts as potentially offensive hacking content. In other words:
🛡️ “Sorry, I can’t help you with hacking.”
“But… we’re the ones being hacked.”
🛡️ “My apologies. I still can’t help.”
So Hugging Face switched to a Chinese open-weight model running on its own infrastructure—one without those hosted-model restrictions—and it successfully assisted with the forensic analysis and incident response.
Welcome to 2026:
🇺🇸 American AI attacks an American company.
🇺🇸 American AI refuses to help defend against the American AI.
🇨🇳 Chinese AI steps in and says, “Fine, I’ll do it.”
You couldn’t make this stuff up. 😂

The progressive society of the future will be built on voluntary, decentralized coordination rather than coercion. Citizens will freely choose to invest their time, labor, and capital into productive enterprises—businesses that create real products, deliver useful services, and build infrastructure that genuinely benefits the public.
In such a society, capital flows by choice, not force.
People will use sound money—money that no authority can debase, inflate, freeze, censor, or gatekeep. Money will no longer be a political tool or a weapon of control. Instead, it will become a direct expression of collective preference. Every purchase becomes a vote. Every transaction signals support. Businesses that create value thrive; those that waste resources or misallocate capital naturally fail.
There are no bailouts in this system.
No safety nets for incompetence.
No political favoritism.
If a business consumes resources without producing real value, it goes bankrupt—and rightly so. That failure is not cruelty; it is feedback. It is the system correcting itself without violence, bureaucracy, or decree.
This is how a healthy society allocates resources:
through voluntary exchange, honest price signals, and market-driven accountability.
That is the dream.
But for now, we live in a transitional world.
Today, we are forced to operate under a system of taxation—legally enforced expropriation—where participation is mandatory and refusal is punished. Taxes are extracted regardless of consent, productivity, or efficiency, then funneled into institutions that are structurally insulated from failure.
Too often, these funds are wasted on bloated bureaucracies, political vanity projects, endless spending sprees, and policies that serve the interests of those in power more than the people who finance them. Unlike businesses, governments face no bankruptcy when they misallocate resources. They simply demand more.
This is the fundamental injustice of the current system:
those who create value are punished, while those who squander it are protected.
Until voluntary, decentralized systems fully replace coercive ones, we endure this contradiction. We comply not because it is just, but because resistance is costly.
Yet the future is already forming.
Every decentralized protocol, every permissionless market, every piece of sound money adopted by free individuals is a step away from coercion and toward consent-based civilization.
The goal is not chaos.
The goal is coordination—without force.
And once people are free to choose, to invest, and to transact without intermediaries and without fear, society will not collapse.
It will finally begin to function as it was always meant to.
It is hard to put Bitcoin Cash in a labeled box. Is it cash? Is it a product? Is it a platform? Is it a community?
When new people want to find out what it is they will inevitably want to put a label on BCH in order to help them understand the coin. And this label they will learn from online resources.
There are various problems that are easy to identify there:
We lost "whatisbitcoincash" due to the opposition reporting it, and nobody bothered to put up a copy.
We have a TON of sites all explaining things, most of them are not updated and you can see the state of our web presence by simply asking "who put up a banner that there was going to be an upgrade around half of may?".
But the really important part is how the community at large thinks about Bitcoin Cash. The forums, the discord and other places. What is being reported as news, what is being celebrated.
If you look critically you'll notice that 80% or so of the people that call themselves (any variation of) bcashers are actually not using the coin as money. The vast majority of talk is about any viral idea to drive traffic. New apps, some new website, another opcode proposal etc.
But how much is signalling that Bitcoin Cash is money to be used for payment of goods and services?
If you want to make people care about using Bitcoin Cash as money and payments, start by showing you can use Bitcoin Cash as money. To the world. Repeatedly.
The main downside of our current bias that it is not payment is that the basic answer to "success" is ANYTHING BUT payment. We see people getting very creative in coming up with new stuff. Stuff that is expensive for the wider community to handle, but to be honest I don't want yet another upgrade that is said to "solve all our problems", but mostly ignores the payment idea.
When you ask many in the community why not foucus on payments, they will literally tell you that we tried (we didn't) but nobody is using it! 🤯
So the first thing to make people care is to make yourself care. And be very loud to people that you care. Not some philosophical caring, but you care because the platform is awesome. 💪
@Lightswarm@twbitcoincash@Futurist_conf@BitcoinCashOG@SayoshiHelpMe@BitcoinOutLoud Excellent work: the booth design and the T-shirts convey a clear image, and the message about electronic cash is powerful.
For the time being, I would like to replicate the T-shirts to use in my educational workshops on Bitcoin Cash in Venezuela.
$1 buys 1,263 transactions on BCH. The same $1 buys 220 on Ethereum. On Bitcoin, it buys 10.6.
Not a typo. Not a promo rate. That's today's real median fee on each network, pulled live: BCH $0.00079/transfer, ETH $0.0045, BTC $0.094. BCH comes out 119x cheaper than BTC, same dollar, same day, same measurement.
Here's what that gap actually means once you stop looking at it as a percentage and start looking at it as a use case.
At BTC's $0.094 median, sending someone $5 costs almost 2% of the transfer just in fees. Do that for a coffee and the fee is a real chunk of the coffee. At BCH's $0.00079, you could send that same $5 roughly 6,000 times before the fees added up to a single dollar. That's not "cheaper." That's a different category of usable.
Zoom out from one transaction and the gap compounds. A worker sending $200 home every month loses real money to fees on a congested chain, month after month, forever. On BCH that same remittance costs a fraction of a cent regardless of how many times it happens. Over 100,000 merchants worldwide already accept BCH for exactly this reason — not because of an ideology, because the math for actually moving money works out in their favor.
This is also why 0-conf works on BCH and doesn't on BTC. BCH removed Replace-By-Fee at the 2017 fork specifically so an unconfirmed transaction can be trusted the moment it hits the mempool — merchants take it at the register, no waiting on a block. BTC kept opt-in RBF, so an unconfirmed BTC tx can legally be replaced with a higher-fee version before it confirms, which is exactly why nobody accepts BTC 0-conf for anything that matters. Double-spend proofs propagate near-instantly across the BCH network as a second layer of assurance on top of that. Sub-cent fees and 0-conf aren't two separate features — one enables the other.
None of this is because BCH found some clever trick BTC couldn't. It's blocks. BCH's block size floor is 32MB and adjusts upward automatically under load (ABLA, live since 2024). BTC has spent since 2017 building workarounds around a block size that never grew — Lightning channels, liquidity management, routing. Both are real engineering. One requires you to run a node, manage channel capacity, and hope for inbound liquidity before you can use it. The other just requires a wallet.
And it's not standing still while it's cheap. CashTokens shipped in 2023 — native fungible tokens and NFTs at the protocol level, no separate contract to audit. ParyonUSD launched in April as a fully decentralized, over-collateralized stablecoin built directly on that token layer — no custodian, redeemable for BCH at market price. The Layla upgrade activated last May added bounded loops and real function definitions to Bitcoin Script itself, making the covenant layer that AnyHedge and Flipstarter already run on meaningfully more capable. This is a network that ships on a fixed May 15 schedule, in public, through an actual CHIP proposal process, every year since the fork.
There's a reason BCH is built for that math specifically instead of chasing the "digital gold" comparison. Global money and payments in circulation runs somewhere around $120T. Gold's entire market, at current prices, is around $33T. A payments network capturing even a sliver of the first number is playing a different game than one competing for a slice of the second. Sub-cent fees only matter if the target is "money people actually spend" — which is the whole reason the fee gap above exists in the first place.
Put the whole picture together and the fee chart isn't really about fees. Sub-cent, 0-conf, capacity nowhere near full, tokens and stablecoins running natively, a chain that keeps shipping on schedule — that's what "peer-to-peer electronic cash" was supposed to look like before the argument became about which asset holds value better. $BCH was never trying to win that argument. It was built to move money for a fraction of a cent. Today it does that 119 times better than the chain everyone still calls digital cash.
