Looks like this morning's high tide in San Francisco (with the recent surge) led to water levels higher than the prediction for the King Tide this coming Thursday.

A series of large wave events were recorded at CDIP stations along the WC as a result of storm activity in the Pacific. The pulse that arrived on 12/28 came close to historic records at some stations, and compounded by high tides, caused coastal flooding and erosion.
