#GlobalIntergenerationalWeek is a good time to remember that ageism harms us all โ and we can change this together.
We all face assumptions because of our age. We know these assumptions have an especially damaging impact on those of us who are older now, but they also negatively affect the way we think about ageing as we grow up from as early as three years old. Ageism is a prejudice against our future selves at any age, and we all have a role to play in challenging it.
Talking about ageism is a vital first step. Get involved this week and have a conversation with someone of a different age about ageism, because when more of us are aware of it, the less people will experience being treated negatively because of their age - both now and in the future.
Find tips for having a conversation on our @AgeWithoutLimit website here: https://t.co/ddyJ0w05gv
