In Science today, Year 2 have been learning how important it is the 'eat the rainbow' and make sure we try fruits and vegetables of different colours to keep us healthy. We sampled a few and discussed which we liked best.
We are so proud of our Year 2 children who performed their end of year concert, The Bee Musical, last week. All children looked amazing in their costumes and the show received excellent reviews from parents who came to watch. Well done!
Yesterday evening, Olivia from Year 2 received an award for Sports Personality of the Year. Well done Olivia for your efforts and contributions to sports, both in and out of school.
A big thank you to all those who helped collect the plastic lids. We have exchanged 12,000 Earth Tokens for this table made out of the recycled plastic lids. We will use it for potting up our seeds and plants in the garden area. Please keep collecting. π@schoolcycled
As scientists, year 2 have been investigating how germs spread by using bio-glitter. They found that germs spread very easily and they know that washing hands can prevent this spread and help keep us healthy. @ScienceWaterton

Year 2 children are being competitive this Health Week by using these Moki bands to keep a record of their steps each day. The record yesterday was set by Evan who managed over 17, 000 in the school day!
