Collecting and reanalysing historic data can result in new conclusions and direct recommendations for #Seagrass #Restoration! With many thanks to @MariekevKatwijk, this just published article will become the first chapter in my PhD-thesis.

Another piece of the puzzle falls into place.. Major construction works for coastal protection may lead to the local extinction of seagrass. Introduction of another ecotype may be required!
