As an Irishman I know the path of a true and lasting peace is not easy! It’s a battle of compromise and acceptance.
I pray that @POTUS and @ZelenskyyUa realise they stand on the precipice of making history and that they will do the right thing for their countries and the world 🙏

Talking heads will have a feast day of course but Trump took a strong line to protect USA!!!

@ZelenskyyUa @POTUS I’m sorry for you sir, that was a hard meeting to watch (and I’d imagine 10 times worse to bear in person!).
But in honesty nobody has come away from this looking good, it will go down in the annuls of history as a lesson in how not to conduct diplomacy for both sides 😢
