Is a 'conference' enough? Another day the Army offers 3-6 hours of sitting in front of powerpoints and speakers. I'm not saying that those things aren't beneficial, but are they the right way to engage..?

@troop_bell I appreciate your thoughts! It was a heavy read for me, and by heavy, I meant it took me a while and often a couple of re-reads to grasp certain aspects of the book fully. That's not to say that it would be the case for everyone who reads it. This list isn't just for officers 😉.

@TheItcSectComd @WHearnshaw The balance is difficult! You would have to define 'excellence' when it comes to Bn life. If all we teach is the required standard, then, if they continue to achieve that in Bn, is anything beyond that standard excellence?

@SamWatt8600 @thinkdefence Question: What training areas have the resource to do this? I've used Celieni and Copehill as part of the UOIC, but it's limited and the systems are nowhere near as vast as what we're likely to come across in combat?
