They are entirely alien, not displaced dinosaurs. Big difference in the organs.
More like armoured amphibians not birds/reptiles. Vestigial gills and all.
A semi-closed circulatory system like some crabs.

@daleksvsdinos Thanks brotha. The baby was originally gonna be more cartoony, big buggy eyes just for the sake of it. As for the details, %90 of it just just vertical lines and random wiggles. Somehow it works.

I like this design alot! It's definitely got some JW allo dna in there, but it's doing its own thing too with the bulky build and big crests. It's hard to get a good look at the colours from one blurry screenshot, but I think this is right?
