The kafala system alone makes it difficult for me to extend moral sympathy toward Lebanon.
I see many Jews, especially Israelis, expressing deep empathy and compassion for Lebanon, and I respect the instinct behind that. I can even understand it.
Yet the reality remains that Lebanon is a vile nation for Black people. Until that moral stain is confronted with something resembling seriousness, I cannot find even the most basic empathy.
AI is indigenous to America because, despite occasional cultural swoons, we provide a friendlier environment for tech+business innovation than other Anglosphere countries
Just today I was in a store with a black guy who was mumbling to himself
After he walked out a woman went to the counter and told the cashier that he had scooped several items into his bag before leaving
The cashier said he does it all the time but the company wouldn’t let her call the police because they wouldn’t do anything anyway and it looks bad
Everyone has been in this situation, they see a black person breaking the law or just the basic rules of civilized society but they stay quiet because they know that the black person will likely become violent if confronted and they will be called racist
Austin Metcalf broke the sacred unwritten law of the United States
He held a black man to the same standard he would hold a white man to and paid with his life
France 🇫🇷:
A group of African immigrants tried to rob people in the wrong French neighborhood.
Bad idea.
They got surrounded and beaten by a group of French guys.
Trump has almost completely ended refugee admissions, asylum admissions, and cut permanent immigration authorizations by 50% and H-1B authorizations by 25%.

@XVids_Daily@cleverthiam@KanwarSierah That was for doctors and only 250 people plus it’s weird that a doctor with years of Canadian experience and medical school (masters ) has 300.
It’s not a competition, anyone with 417 is not skilled immigration.
