Growers will see their smallest wheat crop in terms of production since 1972.
One farmer saw close to 100 bushels of wheat per acre irrigated last year, but this year might only have 30 to 40.

@MattFriedmanNJ It’s important to consider county concentrations in any redistricting. Having more blue votes means nothing if it’s controlled by the corrupt county party bosses.
@is_Voca@Nowooski So you’re saying at your imaginary data center you didn’t wear PPE? Didn’t wear hearing protection? Or are you saying people living next door should just wear ear plugs to bed
@cahobbes@Nowooski Yes and the cooling systems produces massive amount of noise. This is also like saying “no water usage aside from cooling”. Cooling also requires a decent portion of the power consumption. Cooling is part of the issue. The biggest data centers put out nuclear bomb levels of heat
@exhale603156241@MetalFolf Amazing how it chooses to use that power. Home rule is absolute ass but the inability to stop a data center at a local level is probably worse
@is_Voca@Nowooski I have no reason to believe you actually worked in a data center but it’s clear that the low frequency noise produced by data centers has physiological effects on humans living near them. The zoo is rightfully protecting the animals under their care
@UnboundConman@_Bigmace_ Great start on the first point but that’s only one aspect of controlling tick populations.
I don’t control the ticks. They are all around and no real controls are being implemented. Me making jokes or not won’t change whether people go into anaphylaxis
@_Bigmace_@UnboundConman Like if you actually fucking care about ticks and tick-borne diseases clear your land of invasive plant species, manage the land with fire, and encourage predators of land mammals. Bet you fucking won’t you just want to cry about jokes on the internet.
