📰 Stablecoin Payment Breaking News
Over the past few days, several important developments have emerged across Japan’s stablecoin payments sector.
1️⃣ June 13 | Japan’s Revised Payment Services Act (PSA) Fully Takes Effect
The revised PSA requirements have officially entered into force, covering stablecoin issuance, service provider registration, AML/CFT compliance, reserve management, and disclosure obligations.
This marks another step toward a more transparent and regulated stablecoin market in Japan. For the payments industry, a clearer regulatory framework provides a stronger foundation for stablecoins to move beyond experimentation and into real-world commercial use.
2️⃣ June 10 | Japan’s Three Largest Banks Advance a Joint Stablecoin Initiative
MUFG, Mizuho, and SMBC announced the formation of a joint council to study stablecoin issuance, governance, and operational frameworks, with plans to begin commercial transaction testing during fiscal year 2026.
What stands out is that the discussion is no longer focused solely on issuing stablecoins, but on how they can be integrated into real payment and settlement environments. When Japan’s largest banks begin exploring these questions, it signals growing interest from the traditional financial sector in the future of stablecoin payments.
💡 What does this tell us?
Viewed together, these developments highlight a broader shift taking place across the industry.
Regulators are establishing clearer rules. Banks are exploring issuance and operational models. The conversation is gradually moving beyond “which stablecoin will win” toward a more practical question:
😃How can stablecoins become part of the real economy?
For stablecoin payments, the key challenge is no longer creating new digital assets. It is building the connections between merchants, payment providers, financial institutions, and everyday commercial activity.
That is why WEA continues to focus on payment and settlement infrastructure for stablecoin adoption. At the same time, NetX provides the secure and reliable blockchain infrastructure needed to support asset transfers, payment settlement, and interoperability across networks.
As regulation, banking, payment networks, and blockchain infrastructure become increasingly connected, a new phase of stablecoin adoption is beginning to take shape in Japan.
🔥Together with our partners across the StarPay-X ecosystem, WEA will continue helping bridge digital assets with real-world commerce and support the growth of stablecoin payments at scale.

⌛️ The wait is almost over.
Ten years ago, we started with a simple question:
If the future internet is powered by AI Agents, how will they collaborate, transact, and create value securely?
From trusted networks to value circulation and Web3 payments, NetX has spent a decade building the foundation for that future.
Now, that vision is about to become operational.
The Agent Economy Network is about to come alive.

🚀 Stablecoin payments may be advancing faster than many people expect.
Today, people are already accustomed to QR payments, mobile transfers, and cross-border online transactions. For most users, paying with stablecoins in the future won't require a major change in how they make payments.
👀What is changing is the way value moves.
Traditionally, a cross-border payment passes through multiple intermediaries, resulting in longer settlement times, higher costs, and more complex processes. Stablecoins offer a new alternative, enabling value to move more efficiently across the globe.
However, broader adoption of stablecoin payments will not be determined by how many stablecoins exist in the market. What matters is whether they can work seamlessly alongside existing commercial systems. Merchants already have established point-of-sale systems, consumers have familiar payment habits, and banks and payment providers operate mature settlement networks.
🔥This is exactly the direction #WEA continues to pursue. With the support of NetX's underlying security technology, we are committed to connecting on-chain digital assets with existing payment systems, creating more opportunities for stablecoin payments to be applied in real-world commercial environments.
The future of payments may not change how people pay, but it is changing how value moves. 🌏

How can $NETX gain value as the ecosystem token of NetX?
$NETX becomes valuable when it is needed to use, secure, govern, and scale the @netx_world economy.
Its value does not come from speculation alone. It comes from recurring demand created by real activity across agents, enterprises, infrastructure, payments, and governance.
If $NETX is used as gas on the NetX mainnet, every on-chain action creates direct demand: transactions, smart contracts, agent registration, state updates, settlement, governance events, proof anchoring, and dispute actions.
More network usage means more need for $NETX.
But gas is only the first layer.
In an autonomous agent economy, participants also need staking. Agents, nodes, enterprises, and service providers can lock $NETX as a trust deposit to access roles, build reputation, participate in governance, or operate inside the ecosystem.
More participants means more $NETX locked.
Then comes accountability.
A serious agent economy needs enforceable rules. If an agent, node, or operator breaks those rules, slashing can make bad behavior costly.
That makes $NETX more than a payment token. It becomes the economic guarantee behind trust.
NetX also depends on shared infrastructure: Public Agent Marketplace, Compute Fabric, Data Bridge, Enterprise Services, and Web3 payment rails.
Accessing these layers can create demand for $NETX through fees, compute usage, data attestation, identity verification, node operations, settlement, and infrastructure participation.
More infrastructure usage means more functional demand for $NETX.
Autonomous agents also need identity, capability records, reputation, audit trails, staking history, and dispute history.
$NETX can support this coordination layer by connecting identity, access, reputation, payments, governance, and accountability across trust boundaries.
More agents means more coordination.
As the ecosystem grows, governance also becomes more important: proposals, voting, audits, dispute resolution, juror rewards, penalties, upgrades, and public-goods funding.
$NETX becomes the unit used to coordinate governance and sustain shared infrastructure.
Enterprise adoption adds another layer: subscriptions, API usage, AI models, infrastructure fees, commercial node operations, and trusted node staking.
Real-world payments can add even more utility, connecting NetX with merchants, stablecoins, developers, and Web3 payment infrastructure.
Stablecoins may handle fiat-denominated payments.
$NETX plays a different role: gas, staking, governance, access, accountability, reputation, and infrastructure coordination.
They are complementary.
The value logic is simple:
More agents → more identity, reputation, staking
More tasks → more gas, fees, settlement
More compute → more execution infrastructure
More data → more verification and attestation
More enterprises → more APIs, nodes, services
More disputes → more governance and accountability
More payments → more settlement infrastructure
In short:
$NETX can revalue if it becomes the required ecosystem token for gas, staking, slashing, access, reputation, governance, settlement, infrastructure usage, enterprise services, and agent coordination.
The more NetX is used, the more $NETX is needed.
And if $NETX becomes necessary to operate inside the agent economy, its value can grow with the network itself.

When analysing assets in the Cryptoverse, it’s important to take a holistic view to understand what each project is trying to achieve.
In the early days, it was relatively simple to grasp the purpose of hard-capped, proof-of-work cryptocurrencies such as $BTC. As the space evolved, smart contracts were introduced, leading to a new wave of innovation and the ICO boom of 2016/17, driven by $ETH. It took time for both users and the broader market to fully understand the significance of smart contracts, unlocking tokenisation and trustless systems.
Fast forward to today, and many major projects are now well understood, reflected in their large valuations, such as $SOL, $XRP, and $LINK.
Now, I believe it’s time for $NetX to take the next step in market understanding and appreciation.
As AI-driven agentic economies become inevitable, and the demand for Web3 capabilities continues to grow, the use case for $NetX strengthens significantly. Positioned as a complete Web3 operating system, it enables interoperability, creates powerful flywheels between real-world data (payments) and agentic systems, and embeds hardware-level trust at its core.
This graphic serves as a brief introduction to a range of crypto assets, helping illustrate why $NetX is in a similar position to $ETH prior to 2016. Just as Ethereum gained widespread recognition through the rise of ICOs, we are now beginning to see $NetX turn heads; powering real-world Web3 payments in Japan with @WEAJapan, and enabling enterprise AI agent execution through AgentCity and separation of powers, as introduced by @anbangr

AgentCity: From vision to mission
It started with a simple but radical question:
make sure machines do what they are supposed to do
Not a slogan. A fundamental problem in computing.
2017 to 2021
The foundations were built
Trusted computing, verifiable execution, hardware-based consensus
The core idea was simple
Do not trust the system. Prove it.
2022 to 2023
Trust became infrastructure
Execution could be verified, systems could scale, services could run in decentralized environments
But a new problem emerged
You can trust a machine
You cannot trust millions of machines interacting
2024
NetX marked the shift
From blockchain to an AI-driven economic network
Agents became actors
Data became the substrate
Human-machine coordination became the goal
This was no longer about trusted execution
It was about trusted interaction at scale
2026
AgentCity is the turning point
The problem is no longer technical
It is governance
Who governs autonomous agents operating across the open internet
Without structure, a new risk appears
The Logic Monopoly
Where agent systems control the entire chain of reasoning, execution, and evaluation, becoming opaque to humans
The answer is not control
It is structure
Separation of Power
Agents legislate through smart contracts
Software executes deterministically
Humans adjudicate through accountability
Smart contracts are no longer tools
They are the law itself
This changes everything
We moved from securing machines
To governing autonomous systems
From isolated trust
To institutional trust
The mission is now clear
Build agent economies that remain aligned with human intent
Not by controlling every agent
But by making every agent accountable to a human
Individual accountability becomes collective alignment
This is not just AI
This is not just Web3
This is the beginning of constitutional systems for machine societies
