@klos @saylor @chamath Any bank will bill you $100 a year to store your money. A 1TB SSD costs less and will last several years. There goes the "expensive" storage. And the point of #Bitcoin is is not to dematerialize money, it is to prevent circulating supply manipulation, which your proposal do not.

1/ SHA256 n'est pas un algo de chiffrement, mais de hashage.
2/ les ordinateurs quantiques capablent de l'impacter ne verront pas le jour avant des décennies.

5/ ECC (Elliptic Curve Cryptography) volera en éclat *si* un ordinateur quantique suffisamment puissant voit le jour. Bitcoin utilise ECC mais ne serait pas en danger car la fenêtre d'attaque utile est de 10minutes (le block-time moyen de BTC)=>complément irréalisable.
